    Bill is a seasoned legal executive with extensive experience in both private practice and in-house roles (General Counsel at Aristocrat Leisure and at Star City, Group General Manager Legal & Regulatory at Tabcorp), who can confidently combine legal knowledge with business insights to add substantial value. He is not afraid to use that experience to innovate and find distinctive solutions to difficult and complex situations facing clients.His approach is commercial and outcomes focused, to assist and facilitate development and growth. Currently, Bill is a Principal of Orange Advisory Services Pty Ltd, in Melbourne. Orange Advisory is a boutique advisory and legal practice, which specialises in risk management and governance, with a particular emphasis on the gambling sector. Up until August 2014, he was a Principal with Rockwell Olivier and, prior to that, a Partner in the corporate group of Lander & Rogers. In his senior in-house roles, Bill was General Manager Legal & Regulatory at Tabcorp, General Counsel of Star City and General Counsel of Aristocrat Leisure. His areas of expertise include: regulated industries (gaming and hospitality focus); mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures;contracts and commercial law;competition and consumer protection;intellectual property; andcorporate governanceBill’s considerable experience and network in the gaming industry are distinctive and range across all sectors (on-line, land based, supplier), types (gaming machines and systems, casino, wagering, fixed odds and lotteries) and outside Australia. Bill is a regular speaker/chairman/moderator at industry conferences and publishes regularly. He is also the independent member of Crown Limited’s Gaming Compliance Committee.His extensive knowledge in gaming is recognised by Chambers and Partners (Asia-Pacific Region), which also notes his expertise in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws in Australia. Bill is also an independent non-executive director of Keybridge Capital Ltd, an ASX listed financial services company that has invested in, or lent to, transactions backed by real assets, financial assets or cashflow in the asset classes of property, aviation, shipping and infrastructure. The investments are located in Australia and overseas.
