Samoa to get first Casino in August

    Published in: Latest IntelligenceSamoa is set to get its first casino at Aggie Grey’s Lagoon Beach Resort & Spa in August, with a second planned for early 2015, as the South Pacific island seeks to boost tourism numbers, which plummeted after 2009’s devastating tsunami.The casino at the 145-room luxury hotel will be managed by Australia’s Indo Pacific Gaming International and Hong Kong’s Gaming Concepts Group. It will have 12 tables and a variety of electronic gaming machines.A second casino is planned for 2015 and will be in Aggie Grey’s Hotel and Bungalows in the main town of Apia.
