Vietnam police bust gambling ring, arrest 70

    Ba Ria-Vung Tau police have arrested 70 people, including organizers after catching gamblers in the act at a hotel in Tan Thanh District, according to a local police officer cited by local media.

    Arrests were made on Sunday, at the Hoang Phuong 2 Hotel, seizing more than VND1.2 billion (US$53,600) on location.

    The organizers were identified as Dang Van An, 53, his wife Nguyen Thi Dung, 33, and his two brothers Dang Van Xa, 43 and Dang Van Nhan, 40.
