Universal Studios Japan operator may seek Japan listing

USJ, which operates the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka, is considering listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing an unnamed source. The listing may take place as early as next summer.
No final decision has been made, the person added, and the possible size of the deal is unclear at this point.
USJ Co. is currently owned by Goldman Sachs Group, Asian private-equity firm MBK Partners and U.S. hedge fund Owl Creek Asset Management LP.
The company is reportedly interested in bidding for a license to run a casino in the city.
