Twentieth Century Fox plans South Korea theme park

    Twentieth Century Fox plans to build a new $3.5 billion theme park in South Korea by 2018 as part of a complex to include a hotel, shopping mall and casino, news agency Yonhap reported.
    Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and Village Road Show Theme Park, signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of South Gyeongsang Province, to form a joint venture to start the project next year.
    The proposed park involves a resort, hotel, casino and sports facilities, as well as a shopping mall, the report said.
    The Korean theme park would be the second to be launched by 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, following one in Malaysia set to open in 2016.
