South Australia lottery spending booms

    Spending on lotteries in South Australia is booming, raising concerns amongst anti-gambling campaigners. According to the SA Lotteries 2012/13 annual report, total spending rose almost 10 per cent to $462.1 million ($411.6 million), up from $423.6 million the previous year. Saturday X Lotto was the most popular game despite a drop in sales, while spending rose on Oz Lotto, Powerball and Keno.
