Smarkets, a UK-based sports-betting exchange platform, has announced the re-launch of their affiliate software in partnership with Income Access, a digital marketing and technology agency specialising in the iGaming industry.
The programme will integrate with Income Access’ affiliate management software and proprietary ad serving technology.
Founded in 2010 and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, Smarkets offers a variety of trading opportunities where users set their own odds and bet against each other in a peer-to-peer setting, before and during an event. With an industry leading transaction fee of 2 percent of net winnings per market, players can wager on a variety of major sporting events, including horse-racing, football, tennis, baseball, cricket and more.
Niche markets, such as politics, television and entertainment, and current affairs, are also available at Smarkets. Historically, players have placed bets on various events including the winner of the UK General Election leadership debate and the 2012 winner of the American presidential race.
Players at Smarkets can enjoy a £10 (US$14.5) welcome bonus allocated to any new player who has deposited a minimum of £20 with the brand.
Affiliates working with the brand will earn 25 percent of net revenue calculated based on the transaction fees, rather than wins and losses of players. Negative balances are therefore avoided, which results in consistent earnings for affiliates.

The Smarkets affiliate programme will be managed by a team of dedicated affiliate managers, in place to offer advice and guidance on how best to succeed with the Smarkets brand. A wide range of creatives will be made available to affiliates, each integrated with Income Access’ Ad Serving tool, which gives brands the ability to strategically target their campaigns.
