Sky City H1 profit drops as strong NZ dollar crimps Aussie revenue

    Sky City Entertainment said first-half profit fell 7.9 percent as a strong New Zealand dollar crimped earnings from its two Australian casinos. The company said normalized profit was NZ$66.4 million ($55.2 million), which compared with guidance of NZ$65 million to NZ$68 million, and NZ$74.4 million a year ago. The company said it expects earnings growth in the second half.
