Leading platform provider Mediatech Solutions has received a substantial investment from land-based gaming supplier R. Franco Group in a deal which will create a potent, new omni-channel giant.
R Franco, who will integrate Mediatech’s IRIS platform and its 1,500 games, will now take a majority stake in the combined entity, with Mediatech’s management remaining in place at their headquarters in Madrid.
The move comes 18 months after the establishment of R Franco’s digital division which has transformed the group’s capabilities and will now allow the new company to become a key player on the world stage.
Mediatech will gain additional investment enabling it to scale its international operations, which will now encompass offices in Belgrade and Kuala Lumpur. It will also present an opportunity to expand Mediatech’s “Candy” line of connected land-based gaming products.

The Spanish market will be transforming due to regulatory changes in the next few years and Franco’s ambition is to remain market leaders.”
