Qantas is counting on the negotiating skills of Pansy Ho, the daughter of casino magnate Stanley Ho, to gain approval for its JetStar Hong Kong low-cost service, according to local media. Qantas CEO Alan Joyce expressed confidence the airline would win approval after Ho took over leading negotiations with regulators. The application for a license to operate in Hong Kong was gazetted in August.
