The Midori Clark Hotel’s casino in the Philippines is now open to the public after its soft opening on April 27.
Dr Irineo Alvaro, president of BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corp, which operates Midori Clark Hotel and Casino, said the opening of the casino is “the first pillar that shall open wide investments, bigger and bolder,” local media reports.
The registered name of the 111-room hotel is Central Summit International Leisure Hotel. Alvaro said that, by the end of the year or the first quarter of next year, the Aqua Planet, a water theme park, will also be opened.
The resort, which claims to be the first luxury property in central Luzon, is on the former Clark U.S. Air Force base, which has now been turned into a freeport.
It is located about 5 minutes away from Clark International Airport with regular domestic flights to and from Cebu City and international direct flights to Doha, Incheon, Macau, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.
