Macau GGR seen rising between 12 -17 percent

    Macau’s gross gaming revenue was MOP 12.8 billion ($1.6 billion) through May 11th, with the run rate gaining 26 percent year-on-year, according to Sterne Agee estimates. The firm says it expects GGR for the month to rise between 12 and 17 percent, in line with its previous forecast. The drop off over the Golden Week holiday was 26 percent this year, better than the 34 percent decline during the same holiday a year ago. SJM Holdings so far retains the top slop with 23.5 percent table-only market share. Galaxy Entertainment and Las Vegas Sands are equal at 21.3 percent. Melco Crown dropped to 11.5 percent from 14 percent. Wynn Resorts edged up to an 11.9 percent share, while MGM Resorts rose to 10.5 percent from 9.2 percent.
