Macau expects double-digit gaming revenue growth in 2014

Macau Secretary for the Economy and Finance Francis Tam Pak Yuen expects double-digit growth in the gaming industry in 2014, but warned growth would not be high, according to local media reports. He also said external factors may lead to volatility in the local economy. Tam also warned about the dangers of inflation, which is heading higher as a result of internal demand and the prosperity of the tourism sector, saying it creates a high cost of living in the enclave.
