Macau casinos may not get all the tables they are seeking, Tam says

Macau’s casino operators may not get all the tables they have requested for their new developments on Cotai, according to Secretary for Economy and Finance Francis Tam Pak Yuen said. He said the government doesn’t rule out the request for 500-700 tables each, but not until 2022 at least. Local gaming workers’ union, Forefront of Macau Gaming, organised a March in Macau last Sunday to protest against the expansion of the gaming industry and to push the government to clarify its intentions on table numbers.
