HOGO has been announced as the official marketing partner of the Japan Gaming Congress.
Held on May 10 to 12 in Tokyo, the event is expected to draw over 430 delegates from the global gaming industry including attendees from both the government and private sectors of Japan.
With the recent announcement of Japan’s referendum to legalize gaming in the country, interest amongst international operators has soared. The conference will focus on a variety of topics, from legislation and regulatory matters to inbound tourism, problem gaming and much more.
Chris Wieners, managing partner of HOGO, stated: “We’re excited to be working alongside Clarion Events on the Japan Gaming Congress. With the recent regulatory update, all eyes have been on the country; it was a major factor in our decision to launch operations in Japan.”
Rory Credland of Clarion Gaming stated: “We’re happy to have HOGO on board as an official marketing partner. Their experience in the gaming, entertainment and hospitality industries as well as their network in Japan make it a perfect partnership for the Japan Gaming Congress.”
The partnership will see HOGO assisting with event marketing in Japan as well as the development of an invite-only dinner featuring senior executives from the gaming industry and key prefectural governments in Japan.
