Imperial Pacific to feature 48 baccarat tables

Imperial Pacific’s new casino is set to feature more than 300 gaming tables and 48 baccarat tables once it gets the go-ahead to open to the public, according to Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC marketing and public affairs director David Largent.

According to a report from the Saipan Tribune, Largent says that they will make an announcement of the casino’s opening once it has secured all necessary clearance certificates.

Scott Morrow, the company’s casino table games director, added that the new floor will also feature Blackjack and Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, as well as areas reserved for VIPs.

Four baccarat tables, a pit stand, card cabinets, and an exclusive cage are some of the features that can be found inside the VIP rooms, which is reserved for Imperial VIP Club members, he said.

“The exclusive cage makes it easy for our VIP guests to make the transactions with no more trips outside the room. I’m very excited about this. There are also situations in VIP areas where guests could either play by themselves or within small groups that gives them more elbow room,” said Morrow.

The casino will also have two roulette tables, eight units of the sic bo game, poker derivative carnival games – Fortune pai gow and three-card poker and Caribbean Stud (locally known as Saipan Stud).

The new resort was supposed to open on January 28, just in time for the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Fire Rooster. However, it was pushed back due to unforeseen events since the CNMI government, represented by the Commonwealth Lottery Commission, and IPI signed the casino lease agreement (CLA) in August 2014.

Some sources say the casino facilities won’t be ready until mid-April with others adding it’s likely to be closer to August for the casino and the rest at a later date.
