In a recent interview, Kate Chambers, managing director of ICE, a global gaming conference and exhibition held in London, unveiled plans for ICE 2016 and what attendees should expect.
2016’s show is centered around innovation and new technology says Chambers, explaining the campaign this year invites attendees to ‘Enter The Gaming Technopolis.
“The single most important reason that thousands and thousands of industry professionals travel vast distances to be in London each year, is the opportunity that ICE delivers to see the very latest innovations and advances in gaming technology. In fact, many of our 500+ exhibitors timetable product launches around the dates for ICE.”
The exhibition will also be supported with ICE conferences, featuring over 140 speakers. over three days. The eight-strong programme for 2016 opens with the International Casino Conference (ICC) on Monday, Feb. 1, followed by Modernising Lotteries: Retail & Digital; Data Insight & Business Intelligence and a programme dedicated to Cross-Platform & Multi-Channel Gaming on Tuesday. The final full day of ICE Conferences, will feature Game Design & Development; World Regulatory Briefing and Cybercrime, Security & Regulatory Compliance.
In a separate interview, Jo Mayer, marketing director of ICE, reflected on the role and importance of the ICE conference programme. “ICE is unique within the gaming sector in that it is an event which delivers invaluable commercial/product exchange opportunities for our 25,000 visitors, as well as the opportunity to participate in high level information or knowledge exchange…. Our invitation to the world gaming community in 2016 is to ‘Enter The Gaming Technopolis’.
