Gross gambling revenue slows in first week of April, UBS says

Macau daily table revenue in the first seven days of April was HK$866 million ($112 million), down 23 percent week-on-week and compares with a year-to-date run rate of HK$1.04 billion, UBS said. The firm added the figure is a weak headline number that could lead to share price volatility. It expects full-month April revenues to range from low double digit to low teens. The firm said that despite the recent weakness of the VIP sector in Macau, strong mass market growth, means that investors should look to volatility to provide attractive entry points.
