Galaxy announces financial incentives for employees

Following a demonstration by labor group Forefront of Macau Gaming which asked for a ten percent pay increase for all staff below senior management positions, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced a series of financial incentives for its employees.
These include the payment of a one month salary bonus in July 2015 and 2016 as well as the award of three times their annual salary in the form of company shares. However, staff will only have access to these shares in 2018 and will lose their right to them if they leave the company before then.
Forefront of Macau Gaming was not impressed with the offer however, and declared that it would continue with its planned demonstration today unless their demand for a ten percent salary increase was met.
This is the latest development of an ongoing campaign by Forefront of Macau Gaming, who started targeting Sands China and moved on to Galaxy.
With Galaxy Phase II as the next Integrated Resort scheduled to open in Macau, Galaxy makes for a softer target.
