Fiji casino developer sells its stake

The American developer with an exclusive license to build Fiji’s first casino has reportedly sold its interest in the casino to another party. One Hundred Sands was to build a casino in partnership with the Native American Snoqualmie Tribe, though the $155 million project has suffered a number of setbacks and there is no sign that construction has started. Following the delays, the Snoqualmie Tribe has pulled out of the deal and has filed a lawsuit in a bid to recover its initial investment of $1.5 million.
