Feb. GGR seen up 35 percent, March forecast to break records

Sterne Agee has upped its February forecast to MOP36.4 billion, up 35 percent year-on-year, from its previous estimate of growth of between 26 to 28 percent. It also says March could set new records. Given the likelihood of upward revisions for Macau operators to match the stronger-than-expected market pace, most Macau stocks are “cheaper” than they appear today, it said. According to Sterne Agee checks, table-only market share through February 16 is: SJM at 22.0 percent (vs. estimated January total share of 23.0 percent), Galaxy at 21.5 percent (vs. 20.2 percent), LVS at 25.0 percent (vs. 21.8 percent), MPEL at 12.2 percent  (vs. 14.5 percent), WYNN at 10.9 percent (vs. 9.2 percent), and MGM at 8.4 percent  (vs. 11.5 percent).
