Crown Resorts eyes Las Vegas casino bid

    Crown Resorts is planning to bid for a $2 billion casino complex in Las Vegas, according to Australian media reports. Crown is eyeing three-year-old casino and hotel complex The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which is owned by Deutsche Bank. The sale was expected to fetch $1.5 billion to $2 billion and the deadline for expressions of interest was April 22. Deutsche Bank has owned the venue since January 2008 when it foreclosed on the prior owner, developer Ian Bruce Eichner.
