Bodog doubles cash prizes in second Golden Spade open

    Bodog will run its second Golden Spade Poker open from September 8th to November 2nd, with double the cash prizes on offer from last year and seats available for recreational players.The company claims to have been the first to have introduced the recreational poker model as opposed to pro-poker in 2011. It claims some version of this has now been taken up by most other operators.The tournament will include two series, a contender series with a total of $1 million and buy-in ranging from $3.30 to $55 and the championship series with a total of $2.1 million and buy-in from $22 to $450. Each series has 58 events; warm-up, kick off, main event and second chance tournament.
