Aristocrat Leisure says it has settled all pending litigation with International Game Technology and has reached a cross-licensing accord covering game features and system patents.
Terms of the agreement were not released.
“Turning ideas into value-adding innovation is core to Aristocrat’s mission to create the world’s greatest gaming experience every day. Our agreement with IGT will contribute toward this and we are pleased to have finalized these arrangements,” said Aristocrat Chief Financial Officer Toni Korsanos.
IGT CEO North America gaming and interactive, Renato Ascoli, said the agreement demonstrates both companies commitment to investing in and preserving the value of intellectual property.
