Adelson seeks non-gambling executive

Las Vegas Sands founder, CEO and Chairman Sheldon Adelson said the company is looking for an executive to run its non-gambling businesses to work alongside Robert Goldstein who heads the casino business.
Speaking at an investor meeting in New York he also again denied reports that he has any plans to retire from his positions.
Michael Leven, president and chief operating officer, is scheduled to retire at the end of the year, with some reports suggesting Adelson too may take a back seat to lure a suitable successor to the company.
He told investors that if he dies, Goldstein and the new executive would be able to run the business until he is replaced.
